Take Action
Not just to survive, but thrive. The Reality
Young adults aging out of foster care are often expected to navigate housing, employment, finances, transportation, education, and adulthood without the consistent support system many young people rely on.
Many lack rental history, employment history, transportation, financial stability, and trusted adult relationships to help guide them. With rising rental costs, finding a safe and stable place to live can become nearly impossible.
Monai Village helps bridge that gap by providing affordable housing, individualized support, mentorship, accountability, and community connection. But it takes a village to make that possible.
Below are some ways you can help.
Jasper’s Story
For some youth, the first step toward independence is simply having a safe place to sleep, a reliable adult to call, and enough stability to focus on work, school, and the future.
Independent Living Specialists
Independent Living Specialists help youth build practical skills such as budgeting, transportation planning, employment readiness, household management, and goal-setting.
